Useless line of questioning.
No response.
Complete silence.
Your silence.
Hurts.
to say the least.
In silence we swallow
gulps in our throats
constricting voices
choking now
on possibilities failed to be realized.
Hope.
all flown away.
Hollow.
only emptiness now.
Tears.
